Planned Giving

GIFTS OF ART

Between the years of 1940 and 1956, many charitable patrons donated more than 350 works of art to the University of Arizona. These gifts created the foundation on which the Museum was built and continues to grow. The aggregate generosity of these individual donors -- whose legacy combines private passions with commitment to public education and collecting for posterity -- creates a unique and invaluable resource for our state and region. That collection now numbers just under 6,000 works with about 70 new works given or purchased each year.

MUSEUM MEMBERSHIP

Museum members support the Museum mission through dues, active participation in fundraising activities and service as volunteers. Museum Partners are more than just a membership level. They lead the philanthropic activities that allow UAMA to grow and prosper.

GIFTS OF YOUR TIME AND TALENTS

  • Become a Museum Docent:
  • Docent volunteers support the museum mission through research and public outreach, including tours and classroom presentations. The docent program is administered through the Education department.
  • Student Internships:
